The first episode showcased the SK Web Portal, a “one-stop online hub for SK needs,” which contains an e-learning component with short, free online courses; downloadable policies, guidelines, and monitoring templates; and press releases and articles about the best practices of other SKs nationwide. It is followed by the project of the SK of Barangay East Poblacion, Alitadtad, Batangas entitled “Boto Ko, Ambag Ko,” that sought to aid in registering voters in the community for the upcoming national elections. The third episode featured the SK of Barangay Maybunga, Pasig City who sought to empower women and to address their diverse needs with “Usapang Babae.” The fourth and fifth episodes were in line with the theme of this year’s International Youth Day on food security. The SK of Barangay San Nicolas, Bamban, Tarlac had their “Community Plant-Tree” project while the SK of Barangay Arcon, Tumauini, Isabela had “Bahay-Anihan sa Magsasakabataan.” Both SKs donated vegetables and seed packets to their community members to encourage them to plant these in available nearby lots. The sixth episode was on the “Poblacion Job Search” by the SK of Barangay Poblacion, Makati City. They sought to alleviate unemployment during the pandemic by inviting participants to attend a series of webinars on essential career tips and requirements. The final episode featured the “Jr. BPSO (Junior Barangay Public Safety Officer)” project of the SK of Barangay Milagrosa, Quezon City wherein youth volunteers were gathered to aid Senior BPSOs or “Barangay Tanod” to maintain peace and security in the area. All episodes can be viewed in the official SK FB Page to inspire other SKs and even other members of the youth sector to emulate these best practices in their respective organizations and communities.
