The Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB) has issued procurement measures under a state of calamity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this, a shift to digital platforms transpired, leading to this course on presenting how the concerned government personnel can maximize existing government procurement rules with the use of video conference, webcast, email, and other similar technology or any electronic means available. In this course, the participants will determine efficient procurement measures during a state of calamity through a legal reference, which aims to provide guidance and procedures for the efficient conduct of all procurement activities, where the movement of people and mass public and private transport are limited. At the end of this course, the participants will learn about procedures and guidelines on online/electronic bid submission, procurement reports, suspension/cancelation of procurement activities, and other documentary requirements.
By the end of the module, the participants shall:
Recall the efficient procurement measures amidst calamity and community quarantine through GPPB Resolution 09-2020; and
State the Simplified Posting and Submission of Procurement Reports.
